Air Conditioning Operation

Turning the A/C On

  1. Depress the A/C switch to the LEFT to turn it on.

  2. Turn the fan speed to the 1, 2, or 3 position.

Result: The light on the switch will turn blue, which means the A/C is on and running. Play the video below for a demonstration.

Turning the A/C Off

  1. There are two options for turning off the A/C. Either:

    • Turn the fan speed to O

    • Depress the switch to the RIGHT while leaving the fan speed on 1, 2, or 3. This will turn the A/C off but continue to allow fans to run.

Troubleshooting

Problem: If the switch is in the “on” position (depressed to the left) and the fan speed is on level 0, the blue light will not illuminate, and fans will not run. A/C is not operating.

Solution: Turn the fan speed to levels 1, 2, or 3. The fans should blow air, and the blue light on the switch will illuminate, indicating the A/C is now operating.

Problem: If the switch is in the "off" position (depressed to the right) and the fan speed is turned to level 1, 2, or 3, the blue light will not illuminate, but the fans will continue to blow air. The A/C is not operating.

Solution: Depress the A/C switch to the left (the "on" position). A blue light will illuminate, indicating the A/C is now operating.

Problem: If the switch is in the “on” position (depressed to the left ) and the fan speed is turned to level 1,2 or 3 AND the blue light is not illuminated AND the fans are blowing air, the A/C system is not operating and needs to be serviced.

Solution: Please see an authorized service professional or consult the appropriate service procedure (if authorized).

Problem: If the fan speed switch is turned to level 1,2, or 3 AND the blue light is illuminated BUT the fans are not blowing, the A/C system is not operating and needs to be serviced.

Solution: Please see an authorized service professional or consult the appropriate service procedure (if authorized).
