Complaint: Fuel supply line degrading prematurely on 2023 PSI Gasoline Units at United Parcel Service

Units Affected: Model Codes: 751938, 751922, 751853, 751965, 752039, 752040

Cause: Defective or degraded fuel hose

Solution: Replace with assembly 410445

Parts Required: 410445

Planned Labor: .8 Hours

Instructions:

  1. Locate and replace fuel supply line for the degraded material (regardless of any signs of degradation)

See cracks in the fuel hose as example

  1. Order assembly 410445 or use the following to create an assembly

    1. 56” of SAE 30R14 Type 2 fuel supply hose (Parker Series 397)

    2. (2) quick connects inserted on either end of fuel supply hose (Parker J2044 Push to Connect, Safe Lock)

    3. (2) clamps to secure the quick connects to the supply hose (Parker Stainless Steel Pinch Clamps, Series PC)

  2. Install new fuel line and “in service” vehicle

  3. File Warranty Claim under operation 6.25 PSI Fuel Line

  4. Return Parts (sealed bag) via UPS Account to the following address:
