Description of Procedure: Volvo Penta Powertrain with High Voltage Heaters, location and part number to change fittings

Units Affected: Volvo Penta Powertrain

Parts Needed: 420456, 420452, 42205, 420672, 920834, 410424

Special Tools: Hose Pinch Off Pilers (SImilar to Blue-Point HCP10A) - 2 require per fitting junction

Operation Name: 19.11 EV Coolant Fitting Update Campaign

Instructions:

Fitting Replacement

1) Locate per the diagram below a fitting connneciton

2) Use your Hose Pinch Off Pliers to block off coolant flow on either side of the fitting

3) Loosen hose clamps

4) Remove fitting

5) If hose clamps are reuseable insert new fitting, if clamps are not replace with silicon hose clamps (420456 or 420452)

6) Tighten clamps to securely seal the hose to the new fitting

7) Removed Hose Pinch Off Pliers and repear steps until all fitting are replace in the Heater Circuit (Green Section) and Battery Circuit (Grey Section)

Hose Replacement (If kinking of hose from HV Heater to the floor adapter, reference in Octagon 2 below)
