TICO Document #: SFN-20231007B (formerly TES-204)
Description of Procedure: Rework the Cummins B6.7N CCV filter line routing to minimize dips in the lines
*The rework installation is required at Cummins's request to be in accordance with IQA requirements.
Units Affected: S/N 5639-5901
Parts Required: KIT-CUMMINS B6.7N CCV HOSE ROUTING 970006 (QTY 1)
Planned Labor: 30 minutes
Instructions:
Park the vehicle on a flat surface, apply the parking brake, and chock wheels. If your company utilizes a βLock Out, Tag Outβ policy, you should employ it during this procedure.
Remove existing p-clamps and hardware securing the CCV lines to the frame rail support (see Figure #1) and the quarter fender support (see Figure #2). Set p-clamps aside and discard the mounting hardware.

Using the 1/4β-20 hardware and the previously removed p-clamps, install the 5/8β spacer on the filter inlet line (rear of engine to filter) and the 1-3/8β spacer on the filter outlet line (filter to turbo) onto the frame rail support. (See Figure #3.)

Using the 5/16β-18 hardware, install the bracket onto the quarter fender support. Secure the filter outlet line with the previously removed p-clamp and bolt to the bracketβs top hole. This will ensure that both lines are raised approximately 3-1/2β higher than their original position. (See Figure #4.)
