Instructions:

  1. Park the vehicle on a flat surface, apply a parking brake, and chock wheels. If your company utilizes a “Lock Out, Tag Out” policy, you should employ it during this procedure.


  2. Lock the cab in the upward position by utilizing the cab lift switch and the orange pull handle found on the right-hand side of the unit as seen in Figure 1


  1. Locate the ¼” black airline that is connected to the 90° fitting under the cab floor on the driver side and the piston side of the lower door cylinder. See Figure 2


  1. Remove the black airline and discard. See Figure 3.


  1. Locate the ¼” black airline that is connected to a solenoid and the rod end of the lower door cylinder. See Figure 4.


  1. Disconnect the black airline from the lower door cylinder and relocate it to the 90° fitting. Ensure that it’s fully connected. Trim the air line, if necessary. See figure 5.


  1. Lower the cab by utilizing the cab lift switch and the orange pull handle found on the right-hand side of the unit. As seen in Figure 6.


  1. Inside the cab locate the two yellow air lines that are connected to the emergency door override valve, behind the driver seat. See Figure 7.


  1. Locate the yellow airline that is connected to the “PRESSURE KNOB OUT” port on the override valve (See Figure 8) and the 90° fitting in the cab floor as seen in Figure 9.


  1. Remove this air line from both fittings and discard as seen in Figure 10.


  1. Take the 90” long, ¼” black air line that’s provided. Connect one end to the pre-installed BLACK air line fitting on the cab door, as seen in Figure 11, and connect the other end to the “PRESSURE KNOB OUT” port on the override valve, as seen in Figure 12.


  1. Allow the airline to hang, as seen in Figure 13.


  1. Take the 85” long, ¼” black air line that’s provided. Connect one end to the pre-installed BLUE airline on the cab door, as seen in Figure 14, and connect the other end to the 90° fitting that is in the cab floor, as seen in Figure 15.


  1. Allow the airline to run along the cab floor, as seen in Figure 16.


  1. Remove “Lock Out, Tag Out” plaque.


  1. Return vehicle to service.
