Work Instructions:
Remove upper half of fan shroud and tip back towards engine to gain access to fan blade nuts
2. Loosen all 4 (17mm) fan blade nuts
Remove fan blade
Once the fan blade is removed, slide the fan shroud back forward, but do not tighten it as you need to move again to reassemble
Disconnect the fan clutch harness and remove the bolt from the strap.
Loose four fan clutch mounting bolts (15mm) with an open-ended wrench
Once the bolts are loose, you may back off the a/c belt if applicable and remove the serpentine belt.
Remove the fan clutch bolts.
Remove fan clutch
Clean if needed, use kit 970122 (4 bolts 80373), and apply Loctite 242(80080) to each of the bolts
Torque Bolts to TES-106 Spec - 50FT-LBS
Reverse the procedure for assembly
