Description of Procedure: Water from the air conditioner drains out on the cab floor. Add the tube extensions under the cab floor to the drain tubes. These extensions provide a sufficient column height of water so that the water can overcome the blower fan suction and drain the water from the pan.

Parts Required: Drain Tube Kit P/N: 920058-1 (QTY 1)

Super Glue (QTY 1)

Planned Labor: 15 minutes

Instructions:

  1. Park the vehicle on a flat surface, apply the parking brake, and chock wheels. If your company utilizes a “Lock Out, Tag Out” policy, you should employ it during this procedure.

  2. Ensure the parking brake is applied and the ignition switch is in the off position. Check inside of cab for loose items that could fall when cab is raised and secure.

  1. Using the cab lift pump, raise the cab fully and check safety bar is in locked position.

  1. Open kit and remove the two drain tubes and small black air restrictor. Apply a small amount of super glue (one drop) to the restrictor and insert into the tube. Secure in lace with the small plastic zip tie that is provided.

  1. Locate the two drain tube extensions from the bottom of the cab floor.

  2. Install white drain tube onto the drain tube extending from bottom of floor by pushing gently and using a slight twisting motion. Adapter needs to be installed a min of ½” onto the tube for proper retention.

  1. Install a black drain tube extension onto the adapter and secure with a plastic zip-tie.

  2. The tube maybe tied over with hoses.

  3. Stand clear of the floor, slowly lower the cab, and check that the drain hose clears other components.

  1. Remove “Lock Out, Tag Out” plaque.

  1. Return vehicle to service.
