Bulletin: Documenting Door Drive Plate Repairs

TICO Dealer Partners,

When performing a Bode door drive plate repair, dealers must take pictures of found failure. The repairs need to be approved prior to completion.

When available, the subcomponents of the door drive plate should be replaced independently instead of a complete door drive replacement for warranty submission.

Make sure that you have the possible parts needed for the repair on hand when you arrive and note any operator damage along with maintenance on the door drive plate.

Please be reminded of the following:

  • Routine maintenance services are to be performed as specified in Operator’s Manuals.

  • All Operator’s Manuals contain the section β€œOwner’s Assistance Guide”, which informs the customer of steps they should take to remedy any problems arising from a new truck purchase.

  • Maintain appropriate tools, parts, and service facilities to meet service responsibilities.

  • Be properly staffed and trained to administer TICO’s Warranty Procedures and Policies.

Remember that the following is not covered by Warranty:

  • Tires

  • Routine Maintenance Service

  • Normal replacement of service items

  • Damage from accidents, fire (or other casualty), misuse, negligence or racing

  • Failures caused by parts not supplied by TICO

  • Modification of any part of the vehicle
